We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Assistant to join our team. As the Financial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions in our team. Serve as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries from members and our team. Review all incoming invoices on a weekly basis and maintain awareness of all agreements to identify any discrepancies. Maintain an overview of all income and expenses for each department (restaurant, events, banqueting, etc.) to track financial performance. Stay informed about contractual agreements and contract expiration dates, and monitor them closely. Monitor budgets and alert the team if, for example, procurement costs are too high or if excessive purchases are noticed without corresponding figures in the financial records. Attend team meetings to align financial goals with weekly/ monthly/ yearly targets and provide concrete figures.
