About the Role
The Marketing Manager will lead all marketing activities for Nxt Museum. You'll formulate the marketing strategy while staying hands-on with content creation, campaign execution, and performance optimisation.
You'll report directly to Management on a weekly basis, driving both brand building and commercial results.
We are looking for an all-rounder: someone who writes compelling copy, creates visual content, and steers our paid media agency toward results. A hands-on and data-driven marketing professional, who loves culture and is not afraid of change.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own the comprehensive marketing strategy for Nxt Museum, covering B2C and B2B initiatives, owned and earned channels
Report weekly to Management on marketing performance, strategy progress, and commercial impact
Hire, build, and manage the marketing team as we scale
Manage the marketing budget with monthly reporting, forecasting, and optimisation
Craft and execute compelling content across all channels: email, social media, website, and paid campaigns
Write engaging copy that communicates Nxt's vision and drives visitor engagement
Create or direct basic visual content – design skills are a plus, resourcefulness is essential
Manage the community building strategy through earned and owned channels, building a loyal audience
Work closely with our digital media agency to strategise, execute, track, and optimise paid campaigns week-by-week
Manage PR agencies to drive local and international press coverage for exhibitions, events, and Nxt as an institution
Develop and oversee the media plan, including negotiating and liaising with media partners
Work closely with all Nxt Museum teams (curatorial, operations, events) to ensure marketing efforts are aligned and streamlined across the business
Role requirements
3+ years of relevant marketing experience, with demonstrated success in both strategy and execution
Proven expertise in data-driven marketing: performance tracking for online campaigns, analytics interpretation, email strategy, customer segmentation
Strong copywriting and content creation skills; ability to write compelling, persuasive content across formats
Experience managing paid media campaigns and working collaboratively with agencies
A genuine understanding of brand building and how to communicate brand values authentically
Hands-on and resourceful: comfortable writing copy, creating basic designs, posting content, and doing whatever it takes to get results
Project management skills: able to juggle multiple initiatives, own deadlines, and coordinate across teams and external partners
Comfort with ambiguity and change: startup/scale-up experience is a real plus
Passionate about culture
Curious, open-minded, and inclusive with a global and forward-looking mindset
Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
Right to work in the EU (Nxt Museum cannot offer working visas for this role)
