Ik heb geïnvesteerd in The Freelance Qommunity. Het platform dat freelancers helpt met netwerk, kennis en klussen. We zijn een collectief van ondernemers en helpen elkaar, zodat we in alle vrijheid kunnen (samen)werken.

Voor een internationale klant van RubyLibre heb ik geholpen bij het upgraden van het bestaande design systeem. Het systeem werd gebruikt op tientallen websites in verschillende talen, ook right-to-left en had meerdere thema’s. Ik hielp met het ontwikkelen van complexe compenenten in Svelte 5. De componenten werden uiteindelijk geïsoleerd verpakt tot Web Components.

Omdat Storybook in combinatie met Svelte en de complexiteit van het design systeem niet voldeed, heb ik meegebouwd aan een eigen UI waarin de componenten konden worden getoond en getest.

Voor Bravoure het Beatportal.com platform aangesloten op hun eigen Identity Service (0auth), om vervolgens op basis van de interactie met de content een gepersonaliseerde content-feed te tonen.

Daarmaast heb ik Bravoure geholpen aan een initiële test setup en heb ik hier mijn kennis over gedeeld aan het team.

Responsible for bringing an MVP version of Routeplanner to the React Native app. A feature where campervan owners can set out a route and get suggested campsites along the route.

Also responsible for migrating the current website(Next.js) to a new design. Creating a design system with brand new components, upgrading most of the legacy codebase while maintaining the current version of the website. Set out a migration plan to upgrade page by page cleaning up towards a maintanable platform, considering the millions of visitors it currently has.

Responsible for setting up a media platform with the new Next.js (13) App directory, using parallel and intercepted routes. Multilingual with Arabic as main language and rtl(right-to-left) as main interface.

Adelee (a startup) is a video messaging app for sharing personal moments with family & friends in a more meaningful way.

At Adelee I had the opportunity to develop a React Native app. At a later stage, as a team with zero knowledge of Swift UI, we managed to develop a full fledged and stable native iOS application in just a couple of months.

Teamlead frontend, verantwoordelijk voor de transitie naar React framework binnen heel Rotterdam.

Mangrove continues as We are you.

At Mangrove, I was responsible the development of many projects. Cases like Unicef, Coda Apeldoorn and Eneco.nl were some of the highlights. In teams, I took the lead from a technical perspective, willing to push boundaries on the use of techniques, but also made sure that what was designed, also got delivered to the web as good as possible. Always seeking for the edge in possibilities. Working with React, Redux, Ruby and Sitecore made me a versatile developer in ways of thinking.

As Lead front-end developer I was helping out other front-end developers to grow on a technical and personal level. Let them find and set their own goals by asking the right questions.
