CREATE BEFORE YOU ARE READY
Marika Drożdżewska - Creative Content Intern @WKG

WHAT’S ONE PROJECT YOU’RE SECRETLY HOPING YOU’LL GET TO WORK ON DURING YOUR INTERNSHIP?
Events. I'd love the opportunity to bring the event management skills I've developed during my degree into real projects and help create events that run smoothly from A to Z while leaving a lasting impression. I think events are one of the most powerful ways to bring a brand to life and build a real community around it.
IF YOU COULD ADD ONE COMPLETELY NEW IDEA, FEATURE, OR CAMPAIGN TO WHO KNOWS GINNY, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Community-oriented events for people who are just starting their professional journey in the creative industry. I'd love to create spaces where emerging creatives can meet, exchange ideas, and build their own networks-just like Ginny did. Sharing knowledge, experiences, and even social capital makes the creative industry feel more accessible and helps everyone grow together instead of competing against one another.
WHICH SKILL ARE YOU MOST EXCITED TO DEVELOP HERE, AND WHY DO YOU THINK IT'LL HELP YOUR FUTURE CAREER?
Confidence in my creative skills. I have a lot of ideas, but I often hesitate to share or post them because I'm afraid of being judged. I think this internship will push me to trust my instincts, hit "post," and learn through action instead of overthinking. That's a mindset I know will help me throughout my career.
WHAT’S SOMETHING PEOPLE OFTEN UNDERESTIMATE ABOUT WORKING IN BRANDING, MEDIA, OR CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP?
How much it follows you outside of working hours. Inspiration doesn't stick to a 9-to-5 schedule-it can appear during a walk, in the middle of a conversation, or even wake you up in the middle of the night. You're constantly observing, making connections, and looking at the world through a creative lens.
WHAT’S A BRAND THAT INSPIRES YOU, AND WHY?
I struggled with this question because I realized I don't actually get most of my inspiration from brands. As corny as it sounds, I'm much more inspired by the people around me. My friends constantly inspire me-through their style, interests, creativity, and the way they approach life. I think real people are often the best source of inspiration.
IF YOU HAD TO DESCRIBE THE WHO KNOWS GINNY VIBE IN THREE WORDS, WHAT WOULD THEY BE?
Bold. Forward-thinking. Unapologetic.
WHAT’S ONE TREND YOU THINK EVERYONE IS OBSESSED WITH RIGHT NOW THAT WON’T MATTER IN FIVE YEARS?
The obsession with becoming the "clean girl." I don't think that ideal is here to stay, and I hope people will become more comfortable embracing who they really are instead of chasing a cookie-cutter version of perfection. I think trends often become a way to distance ourselves from who we are. It's easier to say, "I just don't like this version of myself," than to confront how we actually feel. Then, a few years later, we look back at old photos and think, "Wow, I can't believe I looked like that." The cycle just repeats.
COFFEE MEETING WITH ANY CREATIVE PERSON IN THE WORLD-WHO ARE YOU INVITING?
Aidan Zamiri. I'm currently obsessed with his recent campaigns and creative direction. I'd love to understand how he approaches projects, how he knows when an idea is worth pursuing, and how he manages to create work that doesn't just follow culture but actively shapes it. Brat and Marty Supreme felt like genuine cultural moments, and the way he built such a strong visual identity around them was brilliant. At this point, neon green isn't just a colour, it's "Brat green."
WHAT’S ONE THING YOU HOPE TO TEACH US DURING YOUR INTERNSHIP?
Curiosity. I always try to keep an open mind when it comes to new ideas, people, and experiences. I hope I can contribute to an environment where we're constantly learning from each other, staying curious, and encouraging one another to explore new perspectives. I think curiosity is what keeps creative work fresh-it pushes us to ask better questions, explore ideas we wouldn't normally consider, and stay open to unexpected inspiration. And maybe I'll teach you a little Polish too ;).
